Step 1: Clarify Your Intention

Write down your intention on a piece of paper—this will be included in the jar to serve as a focal point for your energy.

Step 2: Select Your Ingredients

Every ingredient in a spell jar has symbolic meaning. Here are a few common items used for different intentions:

• For protection: Salt, black tourmaline, rosemary, cloves.
• For love: Rose petals, lavender, rose quartz, cinnamon.
• For abundance: Basil, green aventurine, bay leaves, chamomile.

Step 3: Cleanse the Jar
